Tornados in the USA are claiming more and more lives

 

The death toll caused by the severe storms in the U.S. continues to rise. According to recent information at least 70 people were killed. Alone in Alabama at least 50 people died.

In Mississippi and Arkansas were at least eleven deaths reported, three other people were killed in  Missouri and Tennessee. Meanwhile a state of emergency was declared in seven states in the midwest and southern U.S..

The National Weather Service reported more than 110 tornadoes since Wednesday afternoon. On Tuesday around 50 tornadoes had swept through the area, in some areas fell within three days 45 inches of rain. There are still severe weather warnings for many states.

Considering the massive destruction, U.S. President Barack Obama has ordered urgent assistance for the most affected state of Alabama. The full extent of the damage is not predictable at this time.
